Aveleda
150 years ago, following the dream of the company’s founder, Manoel Pedro Guedes, Quinta da Aveleda produced its first white wine. This wine was tasted by the main critics of the time, in Berlin and Paris, immediately gaining quality recognition with a gold and silver medal. From this point on, Aveleda was created, with a distinct wine, of great quality, appreciated by many, which today is distributed to more than 70 countries.

Brown Estate
We established the Brown Estate label officially in 1996 when we harvested what would become our first bottling of Brown Zin. In January 2000 we debuted our first three vintages at the annual ZAP (Zinfandel Advocates & Producers) Grand Tasting in San Francisco. Fast forward to August 2021… when we bottled our 25th vintage.
In the meantime our business has grown slowly but surely as our brand has gained increasingly broad exposure to an extraordinarily diverse audience thanks to word of mouth, both IRL and on social media. To make our wines and hospitality experience more accessible, in April 2017 we opened our Brown Downtown tasting room on the resurgent First Street corridor in the heart of downtown Napa, and in 2018 we established our House of Brown sister label.

Casal Garcia
Casal Garcia was born in 1939. The vines were beautifully cared for and the land was divided according to grape variety, everything in French style which was not a usual procedure in the Vinho Verde region. The wine created had a beautiful, transparent colour and freshness.
The name came about by itself, since the wine was produced from one of the vines of Aveleda: that of Casal Garcia.
Present in more than 70 countries, Casal Garcia is today the world’s best selling Vinho Verde wine. Casal Garcia is an ambassador of joy and happiness throughout the world living with you some great moments.

Charles Krug
Founded in 1861 by Charles Krug, the 27-year old Prussian immigrant came to America with little besides willpower and a willingness to work hard to build the cornerstone of the first winery in the Napa Valley. In 1943, Cesare Mondavi, purchased the winery. At 60 years old, Cesare Mondavi spearheaded a dramatic renaissance in the decade that followed. in 1976, Peter Mondavi became President of the winery. Above all else, Charles Krug Winery is a family winery. Peter Sr. and his sons Marc and Peter Jr. continue their dedication to producing the finest Bordeaux style wines in the Napa Valley.

chester. Wines
Chester was rescued off the streets of Baltimore City. A very social dog, he loved to greet guests and accompany them on tours of the RRV estate. Chester’s eyes were both piercing and of different colors, one being an eye-grabbing powder-blue.
A true "winery dog", Chester was an inspiration for adventure and enjoying the pleasures that the outdoors had to offer.
In honor of his time with us and contributing to the lifelong memories of visitors of the winery, we have created wines in his name. Similar to Chester, Russian River Vineyards strives to not take life too seriously.

Covenant Wines
In 2003, Covenant founders Jeff Morgan and Leslie Rudd were inspired to bring a new California perspective to a 3500-year-old winemaking tradition. What started as a 500-case Napa Cabernet Sauvignon project has now grown more than ten-fold. Today, Covenant’s 9,000-square-foot urban Northern California winery is situated in Berkeley, California.

House of Brown
House of Brown is a second-generation wine label under the BROWN Napa Valley umbrella, which also includes Chaos Theory and is anchored by flagship Brown Estate.
The Brown family have been in Napa since 1980. Siblings Deneen, Coral, and David began making wine in 1996. Raised by two medical professionals in a “Blue-Zone” household in Southern California, they all pitched in at their parents’ medical clinic. There, they adopted what would become a guiding principle in their wine business: Do no harm.
The creation of House of Brown was inspired by an extraordinary community of wine consumers who for over two decades had been finding themselves at home (and at ease) with Brown Estate, and in 2017 began assembling at the family’s then newly opened Brown Downtown Napa tasting room. This period marked an evolution in wine consumer demographics, with the industry seeing an influx of young and culturally diverse enthusiasts coming to the fore. Since 2017, these dynamics have been manifest at Brown Downtown.
House of Brown was established in 2018 to expand access to the Brown wine experience, then nearly 25 years strong. The label designs are an homage to the brand’s Feel Seen ethos, and to the sense of welcome and belonging that are hallmarks at Brown. Produced with the same commitment to purity and balance that is foundational to Brown Estate, House of Brown wines are regeneratively farmed, certified sustainable, and vegan-friendly.
House of Brown is 100% family-owned + 100% Black-owned, and the brand is women-led.

Lasorte Cuadra
Founded by husband and wife Roberto Lasorte and Stephanie Cuadra through a partnership with this denomination’s only surviving traditional wine co-operative, Lasorte Cuadra is committed to preserving the viticultural heritage of the Valle d’Itria in Puglia—a limestone plateau nestled between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas—where ancient indigenous white grapes such as Verdeca, Bianco d’Alessano, Minutolo and Maresco are, at long last, ready to emerge as the new protagonists of quality-driven winemaking in one of southern Italy’s most fascinating, yet under-explored, rural landscapes. Lasorte Cuadra has only released one label to date: SILOS \ Valle d’Itria IGT Bianco.

Willamette Valley Vineyards
Founder, Jim Bernau, purchased the Estate site in 1983 and cleared away the old pioneer plum orchard hidden in scotch broom and blackberry vines. He planted Pinot Noir (Pommard and Wadenswil clones), Chardonnay (Dijon and Espiguette) and Pinot Gris. Our approach is to grow, by hand, the highest quality fruit using careful canopy management, and to achieve wines that are truly expressive of the varietal and the place where they are grown.
